Get to Gas Long Distance Course

Our Get to Gas Long Distance Learning course consists of a mixture of e-learning, practical workshops, training materials and trainer support and is designed to provide the very best quality training for candidates with limited time to learn.

Our elearning package, designed by elearning experts for the education sector, is aligned to the core curriculum and syllabus at technical certificate and NVQ levels 2 and 3. It is based on multi award winning virtual reality technology. Candidates will be able to practice and learn at their own time and pace. The programme contains end test assessments and interactive scenarios to test candidates knowledge. Results, performance, recommendations and best practice will be shown at the end of each exercise.

Our dedicated and experienced trainers are on hand to provide candidates with help and support throughout their learning experience. Through regular contact our trainers will be able to answer questions and assist you with moving forward on your way to becoming a qualified heating engineer.

Practical workshops are held monthly to enable candidates to put their theory knowledge into practice. Practical Workshops are key to completion of the course in order for us to assess practical ability and confirm competency.

All candidates must complete a work placement where a portfolio of evidence will be created as proof of practical experience alongside a Gas Safe engineer. Get Training can assist candidates with sourcing a placement and will monitor progress on a regular basis in preparation for ACS CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety assessments.

Get Training is one of the only training providers in the country who assist candidates to source work placements with Gas Safe registered companies.

Our Get to Gas Long Distance Learning course is suitable for anyone wishing to embark on a financially rewarding career as a qualified heating engineer.
