A major overhaul to the new edition, also referred to as BS7671:2018, was issued by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on 1st July 2018. Following that was a six-month transition period in which electrical installers could revise the changes and make amendments to their installations accordingly ready for the launch date of 1st January 2019.
All electrical installers must have now adjusted their installation process to adhere to the new regulations and this course informs all learners of the 18th Edition regulation changes, ensures that they are confident applying them to their day-to-day electrical work and remain compliant in the electrical industry.
