About this course
Prior to understanding ACS CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety candidates must hold a recognised gas qualification (Pathway to Gas) or if already an engineer, a previous ACS CCN1 certificate. You will be assessed on the Appliance Specific ACS Assessment.
Our students complete an intensive 1 days training course:
- CPA1 – Knowledge and understanding of combustion process
- CENWAT – Boilers and Water Heaters
- HTR1 – Fires
- CKR1 – Cookers
- MET1 – Meters
Prerequisites
You must hold a recognised gas qualification.
Assessment method
Visual/knowledge and understanding/practical and multiple choice questions and possible written questions depending on the module undertaken.
