The ACS initial assessment is one of our offerings for workers in the gas industry.

About the ACS Initial Assessment

If you want to make a career as a gas engineer, you will need to pass your ACS initial assessment to be able to get qualified and apply for your Gas Safe certification. The ACS initial assessment is to help you get qualified quickly, with minimal hassle.

Our ACS initial assessment requires a few prerequisites which you can see below:

  • A candidate must hold a qualification that is recognised by the Accreditation Certification Scheme (GET TO GAS/NVQ).
  • A candidate must have experience within the gas industry for a minimum of 6 months. Providing they can show evidence and have a portfolio confirmed with photographic and witness declarations, they may sit the ACS Initial Assessment.
  • Or candidates can add appliances to the production of an ACS CCN1 certificate
