This course covers all the key skills to install, fault find and inspect and test electric vehicle charging points. Existing electricians can become a specialist installer. With petrol prices sky high and more people are turning to electric vehicles but too few installers to roll them out.
Who is this course for?
This course is intended for experienced electricians and installers who are looking to enhance their current skill set to allow them to install domestic, commercial and ‘on street’ electric vehicle charging points.

As this qualification covers the installation of charging points in domestic, on-street and commercial settings it is expected that candidates are practising electricians with a formal Level 3 qualification:
Must be able to carry out the following competencies:
- Be competent to work on domestic and commercial electrical installations (With a minimum Level 3 Qualification such as C&G 2365 or NVQ)
- Be able to carry out an initial verification (inspection and testing) on an electrical installation.
- Be up to date with the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations
