Our Get to Electrics course covers everything needed to become a Domestic Electrical Installer including Essential Electrics, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) and Domestic Electrical Installation (previously Part P).
This course is for new entrants with little or no experience. On successful completion of this Get to Electrics course, candidates will only need Inspection & Testing training (and qualification) to join a Competent Persons Scheme allowing for self-certification and registration with industry registration bodies NICEIC or ELECSA.
On successful completion of this course, candidates can go on to obtain a job as a domestic electrician or set up as a self-employed domestic electrician.
This course is an ideal route into the electrical industry without having to endure a lengthy training and apprenticeship process.
This course is a bundle made up of our Foundation Electrics, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Domestic Electric Installation Course.
There are no pre-requisites for this qualification but it is advised that the learner has a working knowledge of electrical theory and is competent working in the electric, or related industry.
Assessment route may vary for each learner depending on whether they hold the BS7671:2015 (17th Edition amendment) certificate.
