Background: | This regulated qualification is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in the Periodic Inspection Testing and Condition Reporting of electrical installation systems in the UK.
The qualification is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and IET Guidance Note 3 and is part of a suite of electrical qualifications including 18th Edition, Initial Verification, and a combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting) qualification. |
Learners outcomes: |
Be able to complete and report the condition of the electrical installation to the client. |
Pre-requisites: | There are no formal pre-requisites to this qualification but it is recommended that candidates should have suitable knowledge of electrical theory and ideally be working within the electrical or a related industry.
