ACS Reassessment

This course is for experienced gas engineers (category 1) who need to renew their existing ACS certificate. Gas Safe engineers are required to renew ACS qualifications every 5 years to remain on the Gas Safe register and work legally and safely. Operatives with expired certificates (less than 12 months) or those expiring within 6 months need reassessment to maintain certification and Gas Safe registration.

Gas operatives can also extend their range or scope of work by adding new appliances through this route. If reassessment is completed before current certification expires within 6 months, no time is lost; the reassessment extends the existing certification date for a further five years.
