Course Background
Our students complete an intensive 4-week training course:
- Training on aspects of health and safety relevant within the gas industry, including asbestos awareness
- Training to work safely around electrical systems
- Training in the use of copper and low carbon steel so that your pipe skills are established at an acceptable standard
- Training on heating controls, airing cupboard and radiators installation practices
- Training in all areas of domestic gas safety

Assessment Method
There are 9 written exams and 5 practical assessments throughout the training course. On completion of this our students will start to compile a portfolio of 40 jobs before they can take their ACS Initial exam.
