Gas Trainer/Assessor
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: Dependent on experience

Job description:
The trainer/assessor will be required to carry out training, assessment and auditing-related duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide training, support and guidance to the students of the gas courses (MLP, ACS reassessments, MET1, LPG).
Deliver training to IGEM/UP/1 standards.
Conduct tasks comprising a combination of training and assessment.
Manage workload flexibly within reasonable time constraints according to allocated tasks and locations to achieve individual candidate needs and business requirements.
Work within agreed standards of service and operational targets.
Ensure compliance with group policies, quality manual procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Contribute to efforts to improve efficiency and productivity.
Manage risk within their area of the business.
Undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence as required by the manager.
Assist the consultancy team in carrying out audits as and when required.
Provide support and advice to assessors.
Required:
Teaching qualification: AET, PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS or equivalent.
Assessor qualification: CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32, D33 or equivalent.
ACS Domestic Gas: CCN1 CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, MET1, LPG.
Unvented Water Storage.

Smart Metering Trainer/Assessor

The position will suit a driven, well-organised individual wanting to work as part of a great team and provide an opportunity to teach and assess candidates looking to gain their first steps into the smart metering industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will include:
Identifying training needs analysis of individuals and organisations.
Developing training programmes and learning resources in a variety of formats.
Delivery of classroom-based and practical training courses to learners.
Mentoring and management of learners.
Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes.
Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems.
Required:
A strong smart metering background in both gas and electric.
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to tailor delivery to different audiences.
Candidates must have very strong technical understanding and compliance knowledge and a good attitude to training and mentoring new engineers.
Qualifications:
AET, PTTLS or equivalent
A1 Assessor award or V1
MOCOPA accreditation
