This regulated qualification is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in all aspects of testing electrical installation systems in the UK. It combines both the Initial Verification and the Periodic Inspection and condition reporting of electrical installation and is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition and the IET Guidance Note 3. This qualification is part of a suite of electrical qualifications including BS7671, Initial Verification, Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting).

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites to this qualification, but it is recommended that candidates should have suitable knowledge of electrical theory and ideally be working within the electrical or a related industry. Candidates should contact their local centre for further advice and guidance on suitability to undertake the qualification.
